I was cruising Kotaku this evening -- as I am wont to do, given my job -- when I came across an outside link to a very nice article.
How My Korean Mother Gave Me The Courage To Transition.
Apparently it's a reprint from a story in the Huffington Post's Gay Blog. It's short, but worth reading.

Interesting
especially the spooky bit about the mother's dream in pregnancy.
My own mother was tod by a clairvoyant that she would have four children, two of each. She had two boys and me, plus a miscarriage which nearly killed her. I suspect that might have been my sister.

Interesting Dreams
My great grandmother (may she rest in peace) successfully predicted the sex of all children born in the family except mine. I guess my intersex state threw her predictions off, however in the long term she was correct in telling my mother she would have a girl. She still correctly predicted my younger siblings though.
