I would normally not do this, but I am asking a simple request. I just found out my mother is dying from cancer and there is a possiblility she may not make through the night. I understand if it is her time, The good Lord will take her, but what I am asking is for prayer. Not just for her but my father too.

Prayer for your Mother
Heavenly Father, thankyou for the fact that you care for us in all circumstances. I pray that you strengthen Raff01 through the night and that you will give his Mother an easy, comfortable passing tonight. If she last longer than that, please use that time to your glory. I pray these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Are we ever ready to let our loved ones go into that good night? It helps to remember that it is just a temporary parting -- a small flash of time in the scheme of things.
I find myself talking to my grandparents and others on occasion. I have no idea if they can hear me or not, but I do know that we'll be together again.
