Tomorrow evening ABC is featuring Barbara Walters on a 20/20 special. Among the reports being featured is a followup to a story she did previously about a young transgender girl, Jazz Jennings. She's now in her 'tweens,' and the new story will focus on the challenges she and her family face with this stage of her development. You can find an article here:

Mrs. D saw the 'heads up' report this morning on The View and called me to watch the brief excerpt. I didn't know what to say, and I'm so afraid to go any further even though this seems like a great opportunity. Hope to have a good report tomorrow. The show will be broadcast on ABC at 8pm Eastern Time.

That she called you in, is a sign she's not forgotten what you've told her and that she knows it's important to you. That IS important! I hope you can watch the show together!
I don't know what to advise you - as far as pushing the envelop though... That she told you, is an indicator that MAYBE she's ready to hear more. Perhaps, you can make some comments as the show goes on... If things are said that echo for you. I dunno.
But, that IS good news.
