Apparently, when enough people discovered the new watcher feature to keep you notified about new comments on posts, it broke the system. For now, we've had to turn watcher off. Sorry.

because I didn't know what it was at first. Then I turned it off. There are a couple of threads it would be mondo handy for though. Any change of just limiting how many thread you can watch?
Another possibility is something like the PM message system (only not involving email), just notify the user at the top of the page there are new posts.
I've always utilised
the track page. Refreshing it every few hours has always kept me in the loop.
