Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas for everyone who wants it! This is just a friendly note letting everyone know I'm still more or less active, but like so many having a bit of trouble. Personal issues along with yet another computer going belly up on me has sapped my creative energies. Fortunately I managed to save most of my work, I think/hope!, but the odds of me finishing either one of the two Christmas Contest stories I'm working on are getting rather long.

I will try, but no promises.

That's a real let down for me, because I really love the holidays. It is the one time of year that my inner child is the closest to the surface of my ID. For just a while I can focus on that and ignore the image in the mirror. Sigh...

Biggest of Huggles for everyone!

Just as well, I suppose...

...since I haven't gotten over A Toy's Story and that was three years ago. If you're going to write like that please let me know so I can stock up on Kleenex; otherwise I'd be forced to use my sleeve, aye? Oh...anyone who is reading this who hasn't read A Toy's Story is in for a very wonderful time. (Sorry, all facial tissues sold separately)

Dear Gover

I have trouble this time of year because of my winter depression, SAD. My meds are good enough for most of the year, but can't quite keep my mood up enough in the late fall and winter. Luckily in the Phoenix area, the spring comes very early!

This year, however, I'm feeling better than normal. I caught a sinus infection last week, so I'm just sitting inside, reading lots of BCTS. I think all the happy-ending, holiday stories and positive blogs have been lifting my mood.

Don't worry if your stories come in late; you're an excellent author and I love reading your stories whenever they are posted!

Hugs and Bright Blessings,
Renee
