I pulled God Bless the Child from the site like I said I was going to. I hope no one is upset at me, but I did feel it was necessary since I am selling it as an ebook. I did leave the comments in place instead of unpublishing it, because I like have the discussions available for future generations.
I completely removed GBTC from fictionmania as well. It wasn't my original goal, as I was going to do the same thing there that I did here. But my request (to simply note that the story was now available as an e-book and leave the comment section alone) was denied and I had no choice but to remove the whole thing. I am still contemplating removing all my stories from FM because I don't want my work clumped with the trash that seems privy to that site.

I can agree with your goals KT
even to the point of removing it all from FM. I hate seeing fiction disappear anywhere, but, you are in this for the long haul to try and grow as an author... so it is understandable.

KT, I totally agree with you on pulling your stories from that
site from their treatment of God Bless the Child. But I hope you put it and other stories in a dead tree format as I have no way to read an ebook.

Read Kindle on your PC
You don't have to have a Kindle device to read Kindle eBooks. You can download a package for your PC, or an App for your iPhone/iPad or Android phones. I prefer reading Kindle stories on my iPhone - it's far more convenient as well as easier to hold, especially when lying in bed.
Of course, you still have to buy the book from Amazon, who will take a percentage before passing it on to KT.
Amazon will never be undersold, so if they find it free of charge on BC or FM, the Amazon price would be free as well and KT would receive $0, which rather defeats the object.
GBTC and FM
I agree wholeheartedly with your decision concerning GBTC and pulling it from FM.
I am so glad I found this site because I feel that FM is not a family site. There is far too much forced feminity, and other stories that I consider porn, as much of it is simply that - porn. I do not go to FM mania anymore. It has little worth reading and what is can usually be found here, along with many other very readable stories.
This site while not really a family site as such, at least has stories that young teens can read, enjoy, and perhaps identify with, in addition to getting lots of good advice on transitioning within the stories, and good information about the transgendered.
