Anyone have a copy of Paintshop pro that they no longer need. This is not piracy. I had bought paint shop pro and installed it on my old computer. I have since lost both the computer and the cd (i think i left it in the cd rom drive because it was the last thing i installed or it could've been stolen). I really like using the program to make my cover graphics. If anyone could help. Thanks.

I wish I could help you, but unfortunately I use Photoshop.

You could always try the GIMP, it's a free open source alternative to photoshop and paintshop pro.

Have delightfully devious day,

I have a very old copy

I still use it now and then but it only runs reliably under Windows 98. Probably not what you need.

Was the best thing on the market for manipulating display fonts until they took those features out in favor of more photo manip.

Erin

Can you use any similar system if one sends it for you to download?

You can download an evaluation copy that will work for a short period of time. On the link I am sending there is a discounted price of thirty dollars for it which is not a bad deal but I know you are short on money but you can try using the evaluation copy.

It is a long road ahead but I will finally become who I should be.

I have version 8.01 and have

I have version 8.01 and have not used it for years (I use GIMP for all my image editing now). It appears to have been released in 2003 and will install on WinXP. I have no idea if it needs an activation code or not. It's yours if you want it.

I would also recommend giving GIMP a try.

Do you still have your CD Key and What Version is it for?

I used to be a big fan of Paint Shop Pro before Corel bought the software company that made it and turned paint shop pro into Paint Shop Pro Photo Series to compete with Adobe Photoshop Essentials. They stripped it down and tuned a great photoshop alternative into junk. but if you need the installer I have a download installer for version 8 or 9 that I could break up with WinRAR and email you in parts or if you have access to a download service I could upload it to you that way. I still use this from time to time becasue the program is so complete in its older variant. So if you want to install it on an Windows XP computer I can help you but if you want to install it on Vista or Windows 7 you will more than likely have to purchase a new copy of the Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 or better.

Its an OEM version that this site is selling I have purchase software from them before and they are legit but if you decide to do a return for any reason its a fight for it. been told returns can be a pain with this site but nevever had to do it always made shure I purchased exactly what I was looking for.

But it looks like they are up to version x5 and the price has jumped back to $80-$100.
