you got the writer's name wrong
The song writer's name is Roy Orbison. He was famous for wearing dark glasses when performing/ interviewing. One show he lost his prescription glasses, and had to wear prescription SUNglasses, he found is was easier to see under the stage-lights, and that it brought instant recognition making him more popular. So he made it a permanent part of his image

AGE, don’t mention you are too old a friend of mine says that we, human being, are like a good wine, the more years pass, better it is; and the version I know is this dated 1990 within the movie, any way I can imagine is the same rock & roll style that even future generations will enjoy. Hugs ; )
