To give the correct to the right artist you should have looked closer this was an early 80's song Miley Cirius had to get the rights to inorder to even preform or to do a remix of the song. The Original artist at least to my knowledge was Cyndi Lauper. I would advise giving credit to this Artist so Miley Cirius would one day be able to use it and make it her song.

No one has mentioned the point of the song, that some of us have taken our girl and hidden her away. I wish I could go back and convince myself to let her out long before this-I feel like I've robbed myself of the life I should have had. So foolish!
