Not a site I spend any time at, so that is an interesting and important question. Perhaps the site is not worth a visit...or there was behaviour that we should, perhaps, be informed of?

Stanman has never posted anything here that I would consider inappropriate. Curious.

Almost Exactly A Year Ago
You posted here on this site a revised autobiography that was quite different from your original biography, leaving some of us wondering which version was true.
You are now telling us that "fictionmania had removed and banned your stories. But now things have cleared up."
I am sure your account of why your stories were banned and removed would make fascinating reading, so why don't you tell us your true story and how you achieved reinstatement at FM?

I saw this the other day, and I wanted to make a comment, but I honestly didn't know
how. Given the responses you used to get over there, how is this possibly good news?
Don't get me wrong, I'm very glad that you are getting things straightened out. That's
a great step, but I can't understand why you'd want to start that again.
I've always said, that there are a bunch of really kind people here. You have friends
here, who look out for you, and make you welcome. You get reads and kudos when you do
something good, and because they are such nice people, they see that you are basically
just a very nice guy. Most importantly, they treat you that way.
I only saw the comments on your stories at FM a few days before you got banned. Apart
from the fact that unrestrained sarcasm can be damned funny from time to time, it is
always... always hurtful.
I honestly wish you wouldn't post over there. I wish you would take a story, work on
it, try to emulate some of the good things in storytelling that you can find all over this
site, and when you are ready, post it here. I know you won't, but I wish you would.

For those who are wondering, join this group: [email protected] Then check the messages for the last couple of weeks, I don't exactly remember when, but this subject gets explained there. I also don't know if any messages may have been deleted. I get the digest every 2-4 days so I seem to get comments that may have been deleted in the meantime.
