I can be hard on my characters...

Well, progress has been rather slow for my current story, Destiny: Triumph of a Spellbinder, mostly because I've just gotten through a round of revisions. Me and my revisions.... Sheesh!

I seem to be a glutton for punishing my characters. At this particular point in the story I've just finished up killing off a character and I plan to kill several more. The protagonist of this story, Brynhilde was thrown out to the wolves and things really don't get much better for her. Poor girl she really has no idea what I have planned for her.

I just hope folks can forgive me for beating on my characters... Especially poor Bryhilde.

Of course, it's never actually easy to write some of the more emotional scenes, but I have to go where my muse takes me.

As your characters can be

As your characters can be parts of you, does that make you both a sadist AND a self-flagellant masochist?

I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.

Good Luck

And Goddess speed on your writing! 8)

Wolves are very social and are mostly protective of their pack-mates. They could be nice if they didn't hate and fear humyns. It's said that they learned to be that way to some of the native americans/tribes. If you don't want to be all that blood thirsty, you could have the wolves being shy but hostile to Bryn, then finally taking her in or just feeding her or nursing her back to health!

Have delightfully devious day,

If you think YOU'RE hard on your characters

You should read my stories. I feel like I need to see therapist for it, but I don't think talking about how I torture make believe characters would look good in her eyes.

I know...

I know the feeling ^_^

Have delightfully devious day,

"Zo, tell me about your

"Zo, tell me about your protagonist's mutter."

"Well, doc, she's got this ENORMOUS set of hooters, and a cigar that just won't quit."

Okay???

Yes they do, but I'm afraid that's not really relevant to this blog post.
