I've just noticed on the hit counter at the bottom of the page that we've now exceeded 23 million hits (plus an extra 9,000) since 16th June 2005. Yay us! :D
That works out at about 3 ¼ million hits per year, nearly 9,000 hits per day, 370 hits per hour or 6 hits per minute (have I ever mentioned I like playing around in spreadsheets?)
With a little more playing around with numbers, the hit counter will reach an interesting sequence of digits in about 50 days time - assuming we have a fairly constant hit rate (which, of course, is anything but certain - which means that a similar sequence of digits almost certainly didn't occur on 23rd March 2009!).

Sometime in the next week or so, FictionMania will reach 20,000 stories and sometime in the next month or so, so will BigCloset. :) There's a fair amount of duplication between the two sites, I'd guess about 1/4-1/3 of the stories here are also on FM, but anyway you count it, that's a lot of stories. :)
