I've started a new comic strip! :)

It's called Stick People With Problems. As you may imagine from the title, the artwork is pretty simplistic. I've discovered it's a lot easier to be spontaneous when I don't get lost in my drawings. Right now I'm only planning to publish once a week, but I may start doing it more frequently if I feel confident enough in my ability to create more. If you'd like to see what my comic looks like, you can find it at: http://www.drunkduck.com/Stick_People_With_Problems/5378805/

smoke alarms

I see I'm not the only person who yells at the smoke alarm while cooking! :)

Thank you! :)

Thanks for all the encouragement! I'm not really sure how far I'll be able to go with this comic, but so far I'm having fun getting there.

New Car alarm

You've got that right. Car alarms are jokes. They're nothing more than that boy who cried wolf. How many times have we heard one of the annoying things go off and the owner clicks it off in frustration without even checking if it is real or not?

I want to see one that has a sticker that says: "Screw with this car and you'll be sorry!"

PS: An even bigger hug to anyone who has ever has their car broken into, vandalized or stolen.

Car alarms

Hiya Grover!

Thanks fir your comment. I think car alarms may have been effective when they first became popular, but today most people seem to ignore them or just find them annoying. One of my favorite Doonesbury strips was about a car alarm, and can be found at: http://www.gocomics.com/doonesbury/1991/07/28

going to the store, parking next to a car and as you get out, it's so sensitive that it goes off and you've never even touched it. Or the ones that talk and do it as you're walking down an isle to go to said store.

My brother had a car alarm on his first car back in 1992. he forgot to set the alarm while living in the bad part of town and someone busted out the back window and stole all of his cd's. Then they went to the store a few weeks later and someone went into the house and stole his TV, all because he never locked his front door.

And he always said he was the smarter of the two of us
