It is really quite sensitive, and presented an opposing view. The child was very natural acting.

After reading the article, I

After reading the article, I talked with the writer. She said that she had "little understanding of the topic" before attending a conference on gender nonconforming children this summer. She hoped the article would give some insight into the "confusion, misunderstanding and differing advice" that the families and children encounter.

I'd say. Unfortunately, there will always be the idiots who read only what they want to see and refuse to acknowledge that, just maybe, the world isn't quite as black or white and full of nice little pigeon-hole boxes as they want to believe.
