As I mentioned in my last entry, I got a hug from my ex last night. Well, she had also tried to get me to talk to her, and even said, "I'm not your enemy" It made me think that the time may come very soon for me to come clean with her. Too bad I'm such a scardy-cat. Ah, well.

Caution might be appropriate
I understand your fear. And depending on past behaviour, I would recommend excersising caution. Based on my own personal experience, and what you have writen here in the past about your ex, I would suspect her to be rather bi-polar and prone to twist your words around against you.
You should consider the whole context of your past relationship to asess your present situation before deciding on a way forward. Even her current contacts/network can have a huge impact on your current and future interaction regarding your child.
Maybe you should even seek legal advice regarding custody and/or visitation with your child, and how your T-status might impact those issues (in theory as well as in practice). Because your social environment can have a huge impact on these issues, even up to the point of going counter to established laws and prior case-law.

Ugly divorces
I went through two marriages one was quick and not ugly the second was horrid and ugly. I have never seen it written that those divorced have to remain enemies. Before you come out to her establish a talking friendly relationship. You may ask her how she feels about transgendered people. Her response will let you know if you should divulge your T-personality.
My ex, hates me. She talks to me very little, but we share a common interest our daughter. As long as we don't fight or put our daughte in the middle things are fine.
I did learn she is jealous of my femininity as I am prettier than she is.
