Just a question for those who have read my stories. How would you describe my style of writing?

I hate to seem stupid,

But I wouldn't even know how to describe MY style! I guess I see you as kind of eclectic-you've done several kinds of stories (Phoenix and Fluke? There's some difference there!), so I wouldn't try to pin you into any particular column.

Straightforward (as opposed to stylized) -- very coherent. I'd say more idea-driven than personality-based.

I think Wren used the word eclectic, which makes you relatively hard to categorize. Your fiction is not usually dark -- I didn't read your recent one, but it's the first story of yours that I've skipped for that reason (or any other reason, thinking about it).

Prolific, and very willing to experiment. Prefers shorter lengths, which if I'm right about that "idea-driven" point, makes good sense.
