Well, my birthday ended on a down note. That night, as my shift started, the acting manager announced another girl's birthday, and it was clear she either didn't know or forgot it was mine too. So I spoke up, and said it was mine as well. She then said to everyone "Happy birthday to Todd, its HIS birthday too."
For some reason, that upset me a lot.

BIAS NEEDS TO BE SQUASHED
You need to talk to your supervisor... break down crying if possible.
Explain how your co workers aren't being nice and you feel so alienated.
You have made it clear that you are a transitioning transsexual who would prefer to be called dorothy, and your gender is female.
Legally they may be required to use your name on your tag. That does NOT mean they have you call you TODD to your face or even behind it.
Next time someone steps on you like that. Stand proud and repeat your preference of nickname and gender.
