So her and Aine's power is immense. The power/skill will remain undiminished if he changes back.

Sarah loved him but he couldn't commit but was willing to give up the harp though Sarah knew he loved playing.

Darcy as him is a bit of a wus but is making his/her new wife very happy though he rarely plays the harp, a harp that looks just like Aine'.

But did Shauna/Sean love Sarah? Does she/he still love her? Is it fair to risk breaking the couple/Darcy/Sean and Sarah apart? But then Darcy/Sean is a fiction. Doesn't Darcy deserve her life and memories back? She was a good child/teen until the Formers deliberately set out to corrupt and kill her. Um, did the Danu ever catch that slimy boy who tricked her? He deserves to *enjoy* the magic's he and his cohorts used on Darcy. Her childhood friend needs her back.

Aine' and Shauna can swap *bodies*. Shauna is also bound is some special way to the brave Finaana Knight Leolin and Chervone.

What is Shauna/Sean's way forward? As a man, a woman, either at various times? And if a woman, which woman. A teenaged Darcy clone or his own adult female body? And Aine', was she ever a person/being? And are Chevonne and Leolin right and Shauna/Sean is an immortal or will soon be one when she comes into her full power. Which is if I read Aine's implication right just a few hours away. At the purification/swap back ceremony I suspect.

BTW the Boston Danu and the Formoans are up shit creek and are only alive because Shauna does not wish to kill. Aine' said only one name matters, Shauna Deirbhile. But then she also said his powers would be the same male or female. But if she can swap with Aine' then her/his sex is unimportant. He/She can be whoever he/she wishes or needs to be posibly altering his/her own form and not needing to swap. Aine' also said Leolin and Chevonne are special to her. Friends and comrades in arms or something closer? Does that imply they are her and his lovers if he/she so wishes?

As much as it might hurt a first I am a strong believer in "The truth shall set you free". IMHO Sean/Darcy and Sarah deserve the truth even if it hurts. Perhaps Darcy and Sarah love each other as Sarah said Sean seemed changed when *he* came back. Was this because somehow due to the body swap her true soul, the untainted Darcy came shining through? With her/his powers could Shauna make Darcy into Sean again but with her old memories intact or find some other way to help them? I suspect though he/she loved(s) Sarah, her/his destiny is to be the prophesized woman/man of Formonan legend. This perhaps was why he couldn't commit. It went against his/her destiny? But could Sarah become part of it, his/her destiny?

But then after a week or more of bonking to the point of exhaustion is Sarah pregnant? If so then who's child is it? His because it's his body or Darcy's? Who is the father and does Sean's or Darcy's magical legacy continue on in that potential child? Getting WAY ahead of the game here but it seems a possible complication.

And what of the Formaoans, at least any that make it through the blizzard Aine' and Shauna conjured up?

And what of the Danuaans who were willing to use or even betray Shuana? What is an appropriate penance/punishment? Hum. The hate each other so yet were on the verge of a conspiracy together... gather all the Fomoans and Boston Danu in the Boston's private chunk of the Big Dig and play the hundred years sleep tune for them alone? Or could Shauna strip from them all the ability to use magic and glamours? THAT would teach the bastards! A few years as mortals might *cool their jets*. If they behave, restore them, if not ...

SOOO many possibilities. The most common path in these types of tales -- IE magical swaps-- is for each to continue on as the other. But until she was betrayed Darcy was a fine young woman. She is not some careless doomed soul who would agree it is better she forget who she was as the one character requested in your The NicBrig Chronicles.

And now that we here her reasons for the *time out* in their relationship, Sarah seems a very fine woman too. Very considerate and loving.

Damn, three nice people trapped in a bizarre love/magic/betrayal triangle not of their choosing. Then there is Darcy's mom. Does she love Darcy or Shauna/Sean as Darcy? Does she love both?
