Danielle_J, who is experiencing another bad reoccurance of cancer asked to pass this message on.
Hi,
I've been hospitalized because of fluid collecting in my lungs. The doctors are trying to keep me from developing full fledged pneumonia. Please keep me in your prayers and feel free to let anyone else, hyperboard, big closet, etc know.
If I can't, Jennibeth will keep you informed.
Danielle
Danielle has been a writer here, FM, Crystals and other sites for a number of years and has worked the battle against cancer into a number of stories. Not all of the stories are long, though many are. Personal favorites are Mulligans -- a Great Shift story, Could I have This Dance -- a MAU story, and The Chess Prodegy -- a Medalion of Zulo story.
I'm hoping for the best.

What little contact I've had Danielle seems like a lovely, caring and thoughtful person. I do wish her and her family the very best. There's always hope...it probably keeps this place alive in some ways. Be as well as possible Danielle.
Stories live and so do you

Danielle_J, is in my prayers
Danielle_J,
You are in my prayers! I will pray in faith believing that God will send a miracle for you. There are others who have had cancer that the power of prayer has sent them into remission or even a cure.
My Momma was eat up with breast cancer because the doctors missed it and she was already stage 2 before they even began treatment. Between the prayers and the Doctors treatment she began to get better until it was time for her mastectomy. Amazingly when they biopsied the tissue removed they didn’t find any trace of cancer. Momma's had her breast reconstructed and these 10 years since not one trace of a reoccurrence has happened.
I was taught as a child growing up to really believe in the power of prayer. God does answer prayers but sometimes the answer is either Yes, No or Wait a while. The answer may not be exactly what you want. I know that I have prayed in the past for God to take away my imperfections and make me a whole woman who can be both a wife and bear children. That hasn’t happened for me but God has sent to me the things that I needed to live this life. Strength in my times of weakness, Friends to share my journey, Blessing me with beauty even though left to just hormones and electrolysis there is no way that the woman I am today could have come to be. Most of all, I have God's presence in my life and unconditional love. For a time my birth family forsook me and I had to wrap myself in God's love and in the love of the family of choice that God sent to me. But these days even that is changing, I’m now a welcome resident in my parents house, basking in the love that they have for their daughter, me.
When we are placed in crisis, it is difficult to understand. God gives everyone free will and more than that allows the consequences to occur. If we could chose good or bad and things always come out good then what would be the point of our choice. But it’s not just us choosing, generations upon generations of Mankind have made choices that have placed some pretty bad consequences out there that we still have to deal with like diseases and congenital defects.
There was a man who had congenital blindness in Jesus’ time. At first Jesus companions wanted to play the blame game on who caused him to be like that, something that he did or perhaps his parents. Jesus made it clear that it wasn't anything that he did or what his parents did that landed him in that situation. (And it’s good for us who have congenital defects to remember that today) Well they still had to know why the man had congenital blindness. Jesus told them that it was so that the glory of God might be revealed in his life. And Jesus did something about it and made the man whole.
I am praying for a miracle to occur in your life, Danielle_J, One so bountiful that you will be overflowing with joy. I will be praying for strength for you journey, a joy unspeakable and full of glory, and a peace that passes understanding, and that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in Glory.
Always in prayer for you,
Sasha
PS John, thank you for calling our sister's needs to our attention so that we can pray for her.
PPS Danielle_J, a dear friend introduced me to the allegory, Hinds Feet on High Places by Hannah Hurnard ,which was a comfort to me in the challenging parts of my journey and I hope it will be for you as well. I imagined myself as the woman named ' Much Afraid' as she took her journey in the book.
All my hopes

Thankyou for your concern
Thanks to all who have responded,
I hope Danielle is well enough to read them, or if not his wife. From what I've heard things are bad, new tumors, weight loss and now this but then she has had stage V cancer now since 2002 or is is 2003?
I hope for the best for the entire family. I lost my mother, older sister and youngest aunt to cancer all in the span of less than a year so I know the pain. But then seeing anyone suffer hurts, particualry friends and family.

P.S If any of you have contacted Danielle privately in the past, it sounds like she would appreciate such contact now. I know that as my mother lay at home in hospice, the inablity to vist friends or get out was an extra burden on top of her looming death.
