Now that I Am The Night is winding down, there's a chapter and an epilogue left, my question is what to do next. I have two more Retcons I want to do plus an original story of mine that has been kicking around in the back of my head for a bit. The first Retcon is about the Teen Titan Raven and the second is about a really cool character---I'm not willing to spoil who that is yet though.
My original story would be a fantasy---my preferred genre to write in. I've been thinking about it for a while but I'm not sure if I've got enough to write a whole story yet. So if I did start it I'm not sure how often it would be updated.
So I'm just looking for some feedback. What do you as readers want to read :)

Anything You Write Is Good
You've got a great writing style, and your characters always pop off the page, so I'd read just about anything you wrote at this point.
Fantasy's a good genre, and I have to say I'd be interested in seeing something you wrote based entirely on your own intellectual property. On the other hand, you actually write Retcon stories I enjoy reading, so either way I'll be happy.

try the fantasy
my only complaint from any writer is when they get us hooked and don't post for years on a story. all of your stuff has been good and you stick with it until its finished. this is what your 3rd retcon in a row. you were jumping back and forth between center and rencon. if you want to do a fantasy first then go back to one of the others go for it. just do the other green arrow story at some point.
Fantasy
I'd say write the fantasy story...
I'm not a comic freak, so retcon is not my favorite type of story - there is also a lack of recent good fantasy stories. I'd love to read some good ones :D
However, write what you like...
Thank you for writing at all ;)

Thats a tough call
Thats a tough call I mean like Rasufelle said you write great retcon stories and your center stories are great also. So maybe a comprmise write a Retcon but while doing that start writing your own story an post it when ya can. Doesn't matter much to me as long as it has your name as the author ya know I'm gonna read it so atleast you know 1 person will be reading it :D.
The Woes of Writing
The woes of writing is when you have more ideas than you know what to do with. Your retcons and Center stories are very good, and reading them helps keep me going. Although, seeing your own original ideas up has a certain appeal. So, my advice is this: go with your gut on what to write, because you are going to have people read them here, :).

My advice?
With stories for two brand new retcon characters planned, plus an adventure bringing together several of your existing characters, plus a planned Center story based at Facility X, plus the fantasy; you've certainly got plenty of ideas.
What I'd suggest is create outline plans for each, then if you find it possible to work on multiple stories at the same time, whenever you get inspiration for a bit of any of those stories, write it up. Sooner or later you'll get a rough idea of how each of the stories are developing, so when you've got a few chapters of one written, start posting. One tip several of the more frequent writers here have is to keep a couple of chapters headroom, so if they need to go on holiday / face a family crisis / encounter the dreaded writer's block, they've still got something to post.
You know by now you've got a reputation on this site - almost anything you write will attract readers in their dozens and a dozen or two comments, so go with whatever you manage to write the most of first :)

Your stories
For me it doesn't matter which story you write / post first.
I don't know all these comics, so even the Retcon stories are "just" fantasy for me.
I just like your writing style :)

Like others have said
Like others have said better, why limit yourself to just one project at a time? Especially if there are significant thematic differences between what your stories will be centered upon, it might allow you to stretch more of your creative muscles or just avoid blocking up. Most importantly, write what you want to. The audience will be there unless you decide to type 'crap' and copy/paste it 200,000 times. Then again, maybe even then.
hmm... I just imagined a cliffhanger in a 'crap' story... *sigh*... I'm too easily entertained.
A few notes here
First, I wanted to let you know as prodigious author (and a great one!), go with your heart. That being said, I have a question on the unnamed meta you are wondering about. Possible spoiler here>{Highlight to read} Let her out, she wants to play with Guy and Beatriz. Plus, she would be truly welcomed as one of the few LGBT supers out there. That being said, I hope I have the right person in mind and am not giving the wrong one away :P
If it would help, I might could possibly attempt a story on the meta in question's possible psuedo-romantic interest...

Love your work
I'll read anything you write but personally, I'd love to see an EOF original fantasy.
retcon
I enjoy all retcon stories and anything you write, Thanks.
