Good Story
Since I'm to lazy to register at stardust, I'll just post my opinion here. Imho a very good story and finally the sequel to Forget-me-not. But I think you didn't need to make one of the elders a rapist, this seemed kind of forced to make him more evil than he was anyway. I'd have liked it better if they would have done those hideous crimes for the betterment of their village and not for personal satisfaction.
The other way they would have somekind of "the end justifies the means" kind of justification, but this way they simply seemed to be pure evil and not some humans corrupted by absolute power.
Still a very good story, thank you for writing.

Great reading for a spring day
A fun compelling adventure story, a potboiler in the best sense of the term, like a REPAIRMAN JACK novel or Koontz at his best. A Julie O. Story I can recommend to freinds who say they have trouble following all the intersecting plotlines and characters of her universe---there's a minimum of this---or who find themselves put off by the erotic content of some of her recent works, since there's none; just a couple of strong resourceful sorceresses using their skills and risking their necks to stop some bad juju that's going on and make the world a better place. And a relatively new character Bree who's a delight & who I hope to see more of in future stories.
~~hugs, Veronica
