which is, in fact, a distinct possibility, or whatever, but WHERE are the chat rooms and HOW do I get to them? Are they the forums? If so, which one will be being used?

Chat Rooms for BCTS/Stardust
There's a link at the top of the front page to the chat rooms. In case you can't find it the rooms are located at: http://tssdchat.ralabs.com/
You can point your web browser at the link a ove. You'll get a page that loads a java applet to your computer to let you use the rooms. I suspect that the chat Erin mentioned will be in the main room.
