Julie O Rocks!

I have just finished reading everything posted here by Julie O. A fine author, and one of my favorites her stories have well thought out intricate plot lines. I loved every minute of it. One editorial comment I might offer is that you might investigate the subtle difference between the words Wicca and Wiccan.

I realize that you only mention the Wiccan religion in a disclaimer to seperate your magic users from the practitioners of Wicca. I applaud the obvious respect or at least tolerance that you display by doing so, the previous sentance might give a better understanding as to how a Wiccan might use the terms.

I noticed repeatedly that You used the term Wiccan, only. Wicca is a religion the practitioners of which may be referred to as Wiccan or Wicca depending on the path they have chosen for themselves. (for example, instead of saying I am Christian, I could say I am Wiccan, I could also say, I am Wicca) There is also the term Wicce, When that one is used (according to an old dictionary whose name and publish date I do not have available at the moment) Wicca would refer to male practitioners and Wicce would refer to female practitioners. You have rightly mentioned that the term witch is used as a common name. As further background, it has been said the term witch was originally used to refer to male practitioners of Wicca. In modern neo-wicca this term is used to refer to any practitioner of Wicca regardless of gender. Hollywood, has further confused this issue by using this term to refer to females only, and creating the term Warlock to refer to males. Warlock is never used to my knowledge in Wicca.

I am sure that is more information than you ever needed or wanted to know, and it certainly goes well beyond the scope of your story line. As a practitioner, the "slightly" incorrect usage of terminology, was a speed bump in an otherwise flawless flow of the storyline.

Keep up the great work I can't wait to read more.

A simple way

I'd just go to Fictionmania, find her under J in the AUTHOR'S QUICKLIST section, and start from the last page of her stories, the dates they were posted there. This is pretty much the order they were written in, and the synopsis should tell you if a story is a Protector or Turbulence story or what. Happy reading, they're some fun stories!

What I'd like to see

I'd LOVE to be able to buy your stories for my Kindle. I have them all, neatly edited (& corrected) on MS WORD, but still, the ease of Kindling would trump that. Have you considered self-publishing them?

Where's Julie?

I haven't seen anything from Julie in a number of years now. Has she stopped writing? Does anyone know?

Missing your great stories.

Hi Julie,

Its been a while since I've seen any new stories. I hope that you are alright. I've sent you a personal message with an idea for the continuation of your COEDS Series.

Best Wishes

Dave
