Well, I've changed my mind now.

I am going to pursue transitioning to female full time.

I've started talking to my therapists and I'm going to talk to some people about getting on hormones, I'm going to have to see if there are options that low income people have access to with those so I can continue on this journey.

It's frightening, and I'm nervous. Not the least of which is the "ugly TS" phase where the masculine features are going, and the female features haven't quite hit yet. I'm worried that I will be required to get a mannerisms coach (I've heard it is required in some cases) and I just don't have the money to pay for them.

I'm also really worried about paying for the hormones and surgeries.

But, I have a few things to do first. I'm currently 240 lbs at 6' tall, and I have a severe problem with hygiene. That's what my therapist is working on right now with me. I want to lose down to 170lbs, which will be a good middle ground between a heavy female and a very light man. Getting down there will be interesting.

Anyone know a plastic surgeon that is willing to do some work for free like in "Kelly Girl"? I'm even considering making friends with "Doctor 90210" to try to get the prices down. lol

I am proud of myself. I've been going to the YMCA for some time now (two months) and I lost from 265 down to 240. I also am able to run two miles in 18 minutes (which was the standard for a "passing" grade on the PT Tests while I was in the Army). I wasn't able to do that while I was IN the Army and 18 years old, but I can do it now when I'm 42. Cool, huh?

So anyway, that's the news from here. I might have a 3 month contract at $28/hr to do websites for a company, so keep your fingers crossed.
