That monster is really falling for her.
Quillian
Teenager from Hell
by Joyce Melton and Daniel Ford
I could see where having a mouthy tail could get annoying after a bit. :)

Bravely...
splitting infinitives too, don't they send demon's tails to school?

I'm not so sure...
Are we bravely running away?
In defence of Joyce, I'm not sure that there's an infinitive there to be split.
Had a note on the comic strip read:
Quillian decided to bravely run away.
then that indeed would have been a split infinitive.

To infinitely split
No, there's no infinitive there but there's nothing wrong with splitting infinitives anyway. Buttered and toasted, with some sun-dried tomato and an omelet they make a lovely lunch. :)
Really, the bugaboo about split infinities comes from Victorian era schoolteachers trying to apply Latin rules to English. You can't split an infinitive in Latin because it's all one word.
But the bit about bravely running away is a quote of sorts from Monty Python. :)

Qullian's Lay (that's a song, folks)
or
All this on a School Night?
She was not in the least bit scared
To be mashed into a pulp.
Or to have her eyes gouged out,
And her elbows broken.
To have her kneecaps split
And her body burned away,
And her tails all hacked and mangled
Brave dear Quillian
Our? heads smashed in
And her heart cut out
And her liver removed
And her bowls unplugged
And her spleen compressed
And her horns pulled out
And her breas...
"That's... that's enough music for now Inkypus,
*** there's homework afoot*** ???."
Bravely brave dear Quillian flew away.
("No!")
Bravely flew away away.
("I didn't!")
When a demon reared it's ugly head,
She bravely turned her tails and fled.
("no!")
She made some excuse about needing pads..
(I did!)
So she turned our tails after kicking his 'nads!
(Is there an all-night CVS?)
Yes, brave dear Qullian turned about
("I didn't!")
And gallantly she chickened out.
****Bravely**** taking ("I never did!") to her wings,
She flew away and made me sing..
(Shut up, Inkypus!)
Bravest of the braaaave, Dear Quillian
("I never!")
(Does this qualify as fanfic?)
She was born for all the wrong reasons but grew up for all the right ones.

LOL!
That seems exactly what Inkypus would do. Supplying her part if she didn't. LOL.
Thanks, Drea.

I can't wait for each episode
but they come often enough that I haven't gotten manic just yet. I don't think I'd mind having tails if I could have bubbas like those. Inkypus Rules (can we get T-shirts?) Belle
T-shirts
We'll have t-shirts, probably this summer. We want to get the first story arc done before we spend much time on other artwork. There'll also be a print comic and maybe some wallpapers. We're lining up a colorist to help with some of the art. Glad you like it. :)
Hugs,
