For what ever reason; strange thing the brain; during the discussion on editing, I thought about "Peaches". For me, at the time I read it, it was such a wonderful story.
Does anyone know when it was originally authored?

The story was a joint effort by Amelia R. and Angela Rasch. Hope that helps a bit.

Peaches
Although I can't put an exact date on it, Amelia and I wrote Peaches nearly ten years ago.
It started when Amelia and I became friends after she commented on a story I posted on BC. She had about five hundred words of Peaches written when I first saw it.
From that point forward I did most of the writing, with Amelia revising, editing, and suggesting along the way.
It was a very close collaborative effort. It would be virtually impossible to state which of us thought of what within the story.
I have revised Peaches quite a number of times after that.
From the time we started on Peaches together, until the time it was posted on BC, at least a year went by. During that time we worked almost continuously on the manuscript and on a fruitless effort at having a Non-TG version of Peaches published.
Amelia did a lot of editing for people, including a lot of work for Julio O.
There is another story called Peaches within the TG community, but if you're talking about the one that involves four teenagers involved in a high school classroom exercise, that is the Peaches we wrote. It is held for sale by Erin. All proceeds go to supporting this site. Neither Amelia or I get any part of the sale price.

date Peaches was written
The file for Peaches that I download from the Hatbox subscription is named Peaches070113.pdf
So I think it was created on January 13, 2007.
edit:Oh, Angela responded while I was answering. Never mind my answer then.

That is simply my notation for the last time I edited that version.
There is a newer version. If you would like it, let me know and I will send it to you. Send me a PM with your email address.
Also, if you're interested, there is a sequel called "Sky" that I write a few years ago. It is also held for sale by Erin for the support of this site.

I was just curious about the original date
I think it could have been one of the first TG stories I ever read, but I was outed in December of 2004 and had been reading TG things for a while before that.
I got my first computer in 81' and I think the internet was 56 baud on a black screen with amber print. I know that most of you will have a better memory than I do about its progression. At first I was reading BDSM stories from FM? By then, I think it could have been a white screen with black letters.
It was in these years that I read a story called, "Captured Caroline" and found it disturbing, and hauntingly was a mirror into my own soul because I felt so controlled and captive by society, family and all that. It was probably in the late 90's that I finally tumbled to the idea that a story like that could be true.
If I was 20 years younger, I'd be working in police work with my main focus of finding people like this and terminating them with prejudice.
"Peaches" was one of the nicest stories I read in the late 90's early 00's.
