I was wondering if we have any girls who have any experience with the Cleveland, Ohio area. I could be accompanying a girlfriend (she's GG) out there to be with her as her room mate for a school year as she finishes her Masters Degree.
I have been doing some looking, courtesy of Google, and it looks like a relatively nice area. I will not be touring Bars at 2:00 AM, so I am thinking that baring a local chapter of the KKK or something should be relatively safe. I am Muslim, Hijab all the time, and would be going to stores and such as such. All My ID is female, including my birth certificate.
I'd appreciate any input available from those in the Cleveland and east area.

Ahhh This Mistake By The Lake
Just wait until the Browns and Steelers play...these are REAL Football fans, and serious rivalry!! They do have the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame there...let me know if you are ever coming into Pittsburgh :)

Cleveland is nice
I used to go there about once a month. I had a friend just south of there in Berea. The parks are beautiful.
Winter is tougher due to "Lake Effect" which means more cold and lots more snow. Plenty of culture.
Attitudes range from Northeast to Middle-american.

Just remember that not to long ago that there were no-smoking signs along the river there. Well that is old news, Cleavland is great city.
