Saturday is Chinese New Year, Sunday is Valentine's Day, Monday is a legal holiday for government employees in the US called Presidents' Day and Tuesday is Mardi Gras. :)

... a minority employee public servant of East Asian decent decides to propose to her non traditional spouse on New Years using the about face (err...traditional) rule of Valentines Day... on a public Hol while dancing naked in the streets, um does that sound right. Within the Chinese Zodiac, each year is ascribed an element as well as an animal, so producing a sixty year cycle. So this year is that of the metal tiger. Element / animal combinations also apply to months, days, and hours (well, two hour time slots), so producing the Four Pillars.
