Well. Just finished reading Skin Horse, from the beginning to the very latest panel, and all in one sitting, too. Can't believe I did that.
Well, what can I say. Seems I gots a new fav'rite comic!
How can you go wrong with a crossdressing psychologist that got turned into a werewolf, a warfreak zombie who chomps on brains, a talking dog named Sweetheart, a wind-up mechanical receptionist, a self-aware swarm of bees, a helicopter with a human brain implanted in it and so many others.
Plus a Doonesbury-esque sense of story and humor.
Many thanks to Topshelf for cluing me in on this wonderful comic.
Kudos to Shaenon and Jeffrey for such wonderful work.

Ah dammit, you got me reading it now
Always ignored it at the bottom of the pages here, as I didn't look every day and only got fragments.
Yeah, see what you mean... As if I don't have enough webcomics in my RSS reader list already... :-}
It's a fun comic
....and (vaguely) relevant to this site. You can tell a lot about a place by the comics the largest circulation newspaper has. If it's all Garfield, Hagar the Horrible and Beetle Bailey, you're in an unhappening town. The number & quality of quirky, offbeat & absurdist strips (YOW!!! IT'S GRIFFY!!!!)
has always been a good indicator of how much I'll like a place. So i'm happy with our comics section at BCTS. It fits.
I'm glad it's not THE TRANSGENDER FAMILY CICUS...

The TG Family Circus...
*tries to picture that, fails, and head-'splodes* X-P
Though if someone could pull it off...

I love it too!
When I found Skin Horse, I also did the read-from-the-beginning-in-a-sitting thing.
I love it and look forward to each new day's panels.

Reality is a nice concept - but it doesn't hold up to close examination.
