After reading the complete story I find myself quite moved by all that "Lucy" had to go through. With the obvious exceptions of her twisted first "husband" (who in no way deserves to be recognized as such) and a very foolish little boy in Texas, she was able to follow the only path to womanhood that, in the 60s wasn't rife with such vile creatures.

I was in Jr. High & High School during the timeframe in which this story takes place and recall much of what was available for public consumption at the time. I do hope you will continue Lucy's adventures.
