Valentine's Day
I'd like to enter something into the 2013 contest, but I still have no way to post here (or PM, or find email adresses)... and I think my email-out is borked anyway.

Yay! Whining works!
Or log-out-and-log-back-in. Not picky.

When I was in seventh grade we had an African-American girl enter our class. She was not accepted (1948) and was bullied until she withdrew. I did not participate and did not try to stop what was occurring. I carry the guilt to this day.
This was well written (re Jody) and Kudos to Ellen for the insight.
By the way, I loved Valentine's day.
