Masks 14 is largely a slice of life story, following several groups of characters through about a year. Long periods are skipped, due to being largely filled with routine. Much of the story is about preparations against an expected alien invasion, with several vignettes involving several characters. Other segments are simply interesting events in the characters' lives.

This type of story is not for everyone, I admit. However, if you are following some of my characters there are important developments in the lives of several of them.
