This time it's a strain of influenza that has laid low this not-so-intrepid heroine... More posty bit and such tomorrow. I'm going to be going home early and cuddling the cat.
Holiday of the Day. A world holiday will be associated with every day according to this favoritism list:
Top Priority - The United States (sorry, it's the country which holidays I'm the most familiar)
Next Tier - The United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Australia
Next Tier - Japan, Greece, Spain, France, Germany
Last Tier - The rest of the world
What, pray tell, would it take to get you to continue Queen Rider? I loved it when I first saw it early last year, but now I've pointed it out to several friends who don't read TG fic, that are just fans of the setting, and they're dying for more of it too!
Okay, this is a "survey" sort of entry, I guess...
I'm gonna list all the things I've poked about on BCTS with that are still 'open' that I'd like to or am at least willing to continue, and I'd like you all to rank them according to what you'd like to see more of first.

Okay, I'm not doing a lot of writing during tax season, but I had a story explode in my head last night. I've not written any of it down, but I think it'll be an interesting Sci-Fi/TG/Comic Book Superhero, and I don't know if it'll be long or short, and I don't know if it'll be one part or many.
I'm going home. When my roommate gets off work (approx 90 minutes from now) she's taking me to the Minute Clinic. They may recommend doc office from there, or fix me up. Bleah. Achy, vomity, head all echoey.
Just a thought. Since we have such a (wonderful) influx of oft' posting authors as of late, the rapidity of the front page scrolling down and away has become an issue to be thought about. I have an idea...
Why not have a small plain-text "sticky" post at the top with the past three days (and links to them)?
That is, like the "Leave a Comment" post, it stays up at the top, but has just quick links to the stories that've been posted in the past two or three days?
A dwarf. I'm talking a bona fide, Tolkien dwarf, just walked out of my office. Short, had the build, a full beard, the scottish accent... but she was wearing pink hotpants, stilletto heel boots, and a tube top... That was surreal.
I think I totally need to compile a collection of, Tales From the Tax Office, at the end of April. Even if there's no TG content, it could be a durn good read...
Edeyn Hannah Blackeney Wasn't it Jim Henson who said, "Without faith, I am nothing," after all? No, wait, that was God... Sorry, common mistake to make...
I helped Gwen with hers, and I'm more than willing to do the same for anyone on the site. If you want to have it set up to show your picture next to your comments, I would be happy to help you get that set up! PM me here for more info on how to get the ball rolling, and figure out which picture you wanna use! :)

Coming late tonight or early morning! I began this afternoon around 2:30pm (Central, GMT-6) I couldn't finish before leaving for my knitting club at 4pm. I'll finish it up tonight when I get home.

To ANYONE who was a fan of the old Jay Ward cartoon, Underdog -- the movie with Jason Lee as the voice of Shoeshine/Underdog is a must see! It has everything you want to see from the original, it has enough in-jokes to keep you giggling and enough "new" feel to it so as not to be stale! I rented it, and I will be buying a copy as soon as possible! There's even an all-new Underdog cartoon as a special feature on the DVD! Oh, and everyone's favorite henchman actor, Patrick Warburton is Cad!
Computer issues are delaying me. Hopefully sometime late tonight or early tomorrow, I'll get Sk8r Grrls 20 up on the site, and maybe the next Carlotti's Way

Okay, so I was talking with a couple of the other National Novel Writing Month folks that are writing a superhero story, and the two "main" comic book universes came up. We started comparing each other's writing styles to characters from them. My word count being rather ambitious (see my other blogs), someone made the comment that I was a cyborg or a witch. I made known my preference to be known as a Word Witch (hee!). Then... someone else made the comparison to Galactus, the Eater of Worlds... I am (apparently) the Eater of Words. I have been dubbed the Lexivorous Word Witch. Yeah, that's all I had to say. Just thought that was nifty.
