I think things are getting much better for trans people.

Case in point, there is a magazine directed at teen girls called "Girls Life", and in their most recent issue is an article about a trans girl name Zoey.

Not only is the article supportive, and not only does it have a section on what gender dysphoria is, but the girl is presented as a potential role model for girls to live out their dreams and be themselves.
