The other day I had a dental appointment so I rode my bicycle to it.. and then back.
Okay no biggie just about 10 km one way and 18 the other since i took a side route along some paths.
unfortantly the weather was a tad warm. 34c or with humidity 38c.
Was a little deydrated by the time I got home and a bit sun stroke.
Dottie is less than happy with me for doing that.
Partly due to the fact that about 2 months ago I had THE surgery down below.
Really aside from being exhausted for a day I feel pretty good and will probably go out again on the weekend.

Two bottles!
Most road bikes have lugs for two bottles or one bottle and a pump. Carry two bottles and either Velcro-strap the pump or stick it in back jersey pockets with tube, tyre levers, money and mobile (Cell).

sunstroke is serious stuff. If she had passed out while riding, I might have lost my girly girl sister.
And she's trying to make me eat healthy! That's totally not fair!

With everyone telling you to take water along for the ride, I am just gonna say me too on the subject. Now comes the lecture you know you got coming.... First off besides water , a sports drink like Gatoraid also will keep your electrolytes balanced.. Having worked outdoors in Arizona for over 20 years I learned about heat exhaustion besides heat stroke, I saw people knocked off their feet from it, it isnt pretty. So my other child I am gonna bypass I told you so's & things like that & say only..... Dont you scare us like that again.because grounding is nothing like Papa's big old hard hand on your bottom. 'nuff said on that behave as I am watching
