So, I had a meeting this morning with the Diversity folk up at OHSU that seemed relatively fruitful, though along the way, I started to feel somewhat like the FtM folk are doing all the talking, and the MtF folk are strangely silent.
Then she suggested that I get in touch with a group called Transactive.org, she, thinking that I would make a great volunteer there. On their web site, they spend a lot of time talking about "binders", but no time talking about male GRS.
I almost feel like they have literally taken over. I wonder why more MtFs are not being heard from?
So, are any of you activists, or do you just sit in your apartment living the fantasy?

Gwen,
seems to me that this site should be the best place for any with issues to come and discuss them away from the public eye.

In my neck of the woods
In my neck of the woods (Nashville) we have a very active MtF group called the T-Vals. There's lots of activism but it's mostly overshadowed by the LGB groups in the area co-opting our message. I was very active with them but left a few months ago when the Chairwoman was so paranoid about having to do it all herself (because she had very little help in the beginning) that she would not let any of the board members do their jobs. I protested, made many enemies and finally left the group. Right now, it's Social Justice Blogger on Tumblr and spreading the message and working to raise awareness.
It's interesting, there's several FtMs in the area, some of them good friends, and they feel that they are overshadowed by the MtFs in the area.
