Weird.
I went through High School from 2004-2008. There were cameras there, it was quite normal. It's not like they were pointed at (or even in) washrooms/change rooms. They just had them in the hallways. It prevents physical violence and vandalism. It was never even an issue with my fellow students, just something that was part of the environment.
Nobody ever monitored the footage and it wasn't available form an outside source. It was pretty much only there if something happened then the school had the ability to go back and review the footage. Seems like a good, and cheap, way to handle it to me.
I don't really understand why anyone would fight this...
Stock yard Jailed Society.
There has been a trend since the observation Bully State became official USA policy to make the citizen vulnerable to any mistreatment authority wishes to allow or dish out. You are not allowed to video or record people beating up other people or the police doing the same. A woman can not tape the threatening phone calls made to her by a bully. Bullies are higher on the food chain and are more respected than their victim's ,who are prosecuted as criminal when they defend them selves, This is policy in the EU and America now. We are being domesticated into helplessness by people who by there own terms Entitled to do so by there rank and privilege. Domestication is never done to benefit that being domesticated. And remember most domestic creatures are slaughtered for food.
Cameras in school have become necessary because of the bullies, and they have been encouraged to perform by there parents. churches, political parties. It is everywhere now and unless we name the crime they are committing and as a population stand up to them. Before this Cannibalistic cult gets any more embolden.
Sorry for my bluntness but I have been there and it is not pretty.
