I've just been outed again, and it hurts just as bad this time as the first time; funny that. Now it begins to make sense why some of us are such recluses.
In the past, I've been quite hostile to people wanting to come out. It is because I wanted to protect you, my darlings. Still, some invisible force seems to drive us forward like lemings plunging into the sea.
I promise, no dramatics.

Thank you for the gentle comments and PM's. In retrospect, I think one of the reasons that I felt so dismayed and emotional is that in nearly 8 years, aside from my neanderthal family, I can count on my fingers the times that someone has been unkind to me. I was not prepared for such effrontery, so it really knocked me on my bum.
