Regrettably I live in a strange land where the number plate layout is strictly defined. You can make up names but it is difficult and most of the ones you see around are somewhat lame.
Raff01: It is my understanding that the 'Penny Lane' referred to in the song was a real street in Liverpool known to the composers in their childhoods and that all those mentioned were in fact real people observed by them at one time or another.
