Well this year I finally did it. I applied for a professional badge and listed what I have done in comics over the years and they gave me one! It's very cool to have. :)
I met some of my friends from previous years, saw a comic (same issue, FF #48) I bought new off the stands being offered for sale at $15,000 dollars. Holy shit! I went to the guy I sold it to in 1974, Steve Schanes, he no longer deals in comics just original art, and I asked him if he had seen what they were asking for it. He said, "I can't imagine why anyone would pay that for a comic they aren't going to take out of the plastic to read." Gotta agree with him.
Bought The K Chronicles off of Keith Knight, a very funny guy who hates the Star Wars prequels. Biggest selling item at his booth was a bumper sticker that said, "There can be only three!" :)
Time to eat cheap tacos and go to bed.
