I'll start by saying I may have drawn the wrong conclusion here but it makes sense to me.
I was laying in the bath scrubbing my feet amused at how events completely unrelated to me being TG gave me a girl foot and a guy foot(yes I gave my feet genders!). I wear a size 6w (comfortable fit)and a size 9w(a bit on the tight side) U.S. sizes(yes, I buy 2 pairs of shoes every time) there is supposed to be something I can stick in the end of a bigger shoe for my girl foot but hell will freeze over before I make either of my feet look bigger then they are.
I was staying with my great aunt Irene who lived in a trailer somewhere in the Nevada desert near an opal mine(My dad was TDY in Guam and my mom was in Maine helping her sister build a house). I only stayed with her a few weeks and I don't really remember much, other than it was really really boring(I wasn't even old enough to see the stupid opal mine) and my aunt only had a car 2 days a week.(don't remember why) well, one day I opened the trailer door and got blown out the door and fell about 6 feet landing on my bum on the corner of something.(I think it was a cinder block) and because we didn't have a car, and I could walk again by the time we did have one, 3 or 4 days later(I still have a dent in my bum from that... more than 15 years later). I never made it to the hospital.
I didn't notice the difference in foot size till I was 15 or 16, and a couple years ago a random guy stopped me in Walmart and asked if I fell on my bum recently, he said he was training to be a physical therapist and noticed I was walking funny. I had never noticed that till he mentioned it... I twist my guy foot way off to the side whenever I step forward, which I cant seem to stop even when I try.
and because I feel the need to explain why they have genders... My girl foot isn't just shorter its also thinner, has smaller toes, and a much higher arch... guy foot is pretty much flat...
now if only it could have happened to both my feet...

Not really related...
But I dropped a bit of weight a while back (90->75 kg) and dropped a shoe size with it. Maybe exercising only one leg would help? (it's a joke, Joyce).
While we're talking about feet....
While I was at college (University for my European friends), my shoe size shrunk between 2 and 2.5 sizes... I started with a 9/10 and came out with a 7 (men's sizes) and didn't change weight the whole time... How was this discovered? Buying UNIFORM shoes (Yes, I was in the Navy...) I had to buy new shoes too often, and they kept getting smaller. Go figure.
The feet have remained a ladies size 9-9.5 since that time despite significant weight gain.
Nobody can explain it... Mind you, I'm NOT complaining! At least I don't have much trouble finding shoes (ladies shoes) to wear... Now, men's shoes were a problem. Finding a men's size 7 with a narrow heel was really tough back in the '80s!
Fascinating story about your different shoe sizes/feet... Most of us have variations, just not that much.

Feet Differences
I have or had a Tgal GF, my lover for a while, who has either CP or MS, I can't remember. Her body is a little twisted, her legs are slightly different lengths are her feet are different by about 1 shoe size. Her larger foot is a wimyn's 11.5. When she is standing, nothing appears wrong with her, but she limps and twists a little when she walks. Her bio-daughter has the same condition.
I'm pretty sure my feet got a little smaller over 20yrs, before transitioning. Around the end of my growth spurt at 18 or 19, my feet were the largest, about men's 9.5, but at 35 - 40 YO they were men's 8.5. I was 6' tall. Men's shoes always were painful for me to wear. Running shoes were OK and stiff leather dress shoes were the worst. I have high arches and my metatarsal bones/joints sort of stick out. In bare feet my weight is on my metatarsals and my heels. I had some rigid orthotics as a teen. After that, I made my own flexible ones with commercial shoe/foot pads glued together with the thickest part just behind my metatarsals, to move my weight off of them. In my twenties, I got into distance running, like 10Ks, but I could only run, at maybe 25 miles a week, for 3 months before my metatarsals got so sore I had to stop for the season. Around '78, running shoes started to be made with much more padding. I could increase my mileage and train for most of the year, until I blew out my bad knee with an over-use injury.
Anyway, I was amazed when I started wearing wimyn's shoes for longer amounts of time, because they fit my feet much better. After 1.5 year of HRT, I found that I was only 5" 11". My feet size seems about typical for wimyn my height. I haven't noticeably gotten shorter since then. My fore-feet are medium width in wimyn's and my heels are narrow. Men's shoe were just shaped wrong. I can now wear flats with hardly any padding and walk for maybe an hour during the day and my feet don't get sore. Fore-feet, and for me my metatarsals, take much more of my weight in heels over 2 - 2.5 inches. I used to wear them, but stopped after I got fired and decided I was a lesbian. Being large, I (was told, a lot, that I) looked butch, so I've just dressed that way, mainly just casual. I recently bought a pair of flats; the one's that fit best were 9.5, but I don't think my feet got smaller. I think sizes have slowly gotten a little larger. My bicycling shoes, in European sizes, are 42.5 or 43. I have men's 43 road shoes from Kim that she couldn't wear anymore because of some toe damage/swelling. I pad the back of the shoe above my heel to make it narrower. I have wimyn's 43 mountain bike shoes. I could probably wear either in 42.5, but those models didn't come in half sizes.
