This one of the times of the year when I miss being part of a church, and struggle with my status as a "spiritual orphan". But I'm going to do my best to not let it get me down with God's help.
Happy Good Friday, everyone.

You Must Find One - Seek Out Your New Spiritual Home.
Dear Dorothy:
You should not feel orphaned during the holiday. Seek out a church, where you will be welcomed as Dorothy. It may take some effort on your part to find a new home, and their traditions may be different from what you were raised on or are comfortable with. But, I am sure you can find someplace where you will be welcomed. Perhaps a new spiritual awakening will be the result.
You must be the one to find the place. Because even if the place has an open door and a welcome mat, they may not have the ability to seek you out.
Have a Happy Holiday.

and even if...
They have the ability, sometimes it still just won't happen unless you're seeking them first. I find it personally very incredible when listening to people who convert to a different sect how it came about, all of them, all of them, were looking and couldn't find when the sect they converted to found them. It just seems to be the way it works.
