Well, last night before I went to work, I was talking to a friend on IMVU, and she said I'm her hero and idol. Somehow, I find that somewhat frightening ....

Frightening? So then I guess you don't want to hear about Dorothyism...

"Dorothyism"?

made me think of the scene from "Men in Black 2" where a locker full of tiny people worship Jay (Will Smith) ....

Did She Say "Yer Idle"?

Joking my dear. What it should do is give that abominably low self-esteem of yours a big lift. Are you listening?

IMVU?

It is hard to reply since I do not know what IMVU is? I guess I am clueless at 59 years 9 months and 15 days.

But unless talking to someone on IMVU is something to be construed as a negative, you should take it as it intended, and stop having so low self-esteem.

IMVU is like an online video game, only there's no monsters to kill ect(at least i dont think so).. so it's also a chatroom-ish like thing...

another way to look at it, is that it's a more cartoonish, kiddy, CENSORED version of 2nd Life.

....to me it's kind of weird, but i DO understand the draw of a virtual community, but i find it boring.

If your character doesn't improve (level up or skill up) and your not battling for survival then it's really not a game... it's an animated chatroom.

But no there is nothing wrong with logging onto it, we all have our preferances for what we find entertaining.

I can see it!

You're honest and brave, facing problems and prejudice. Why not?
