Well, i think my ex is losing it. I was helping her tonight like I always do, and she asked me to write a letter for my daughter's new teacher at school. I agreed, and I started writing it. She was dictating to me, and i tried to make a suggestion about some words, and she completely lost it. She starting swearing at me, and told me I have nothing to do with my daughter's future. I am hurt, angry, and ready to do something drastic.

I believe your ex is bi-polar. Doe she have bouts of depression then be real nice then angry as hell. My mother is bi-polar and those are some of the symptoms.

Child Rearing
It's nearly impossible to dissect an argument up close, let alone through a brief blog. It's obvious you feel put upon from the title of your blog. I hope you're able to talk this through with a sympathetic ear.
I've had 36 years of marriage and raised four children. Brining up babies is as much an art as a science. My guess is that disputes over how to properly raise a child is almost as prevalent as spats over money. There are no magic wands for how to make sure Spike and Mimi have a wonderful life. What works for one doesn't necessarily work for the other. What worked in your day, might now be totally out of line for your children.
I hope when today dawned you and your spouse both had a good night's sleep and can approach things on a more peaceful level.

Interesting.
Why is she trying to get you to write a letter for her daughter's school? Is she incapable of writing herself? The fact she asks you, and then tries to dictate the content suggests that she is trying to manipulate you into writing a letter that puts her in a good light - and you in a worse one.
I would have nothing to do with this. If a letter needs to be written, write your own letter, in your own words, if necessary. If she wants to contact the school, let her find someone else to do it for her.
