and you thought you'd escaped!
So today has been bright and sunny for the most part and with Dad lined up for more scans and tests, i took the opportunity to get in a ride. I decided on one of my favourites, a ride down the Eastern Edges with a stop at one of my favourite cafes high above Matlock. It was good to be on such familiar roads and the cafe was as good if a bit pricier, as i remember it. Once sated i continued the ride via Cromford and Via Gellia to Winster before going through Chatsworth, its but a four mile climb then back over the moors for the descent into Sheffield. 102km, 1279m - a decent workout to be sure.
I got back, showered and headed straight to the hospital to see pater. The news is mostly good, the lung lessions are stable and the procedure last night has repaired a small tear that they think was causing Eeyores mates problems. The arm is looking better but they are still concerned with something showing in his bloods.
I finally got my tea just after nine, spag bol after being disappointed by a closed chip oyle.
That's it for tonight,
Tschuss,
