Well i suppose it is November so what can you expect.
It's really bgrd up my plans this week though, given the choice i don't go riding in the wet, its not much fun and all that wet gear - nope if i have a choice i'll be inside by the fire (meta thingy speaking). So with wet fronts chasing each other across the country i didn't ride Thursday but Friday was actually not bad so i got in 125km, down through Cheddar and along to WSM for lunch before a direct route back to Cabotville. But the rain was back in the evening and has continued to pass through with some short breaks ever since.
Net result, i've missed a days riding this week, got soaked when i have ventured out and generally got the wintertime blues, bleh! There was a bit of a break in the weather, just enough for the Bonfire night fireworks to rent the skies, yep, its November alright. The one real highlight has been Sunday Dinner, we don't regularly have a proper Sunday meal but i thought i'd get my pinny out and activate my domestic goddess abilities. The result, a reet proper GOC bit o' scram!
As you can see, it was heartily enjoyed by all participants, everything turned out just right. What is it i hear some of you ask, well its a lamb shank served in a Yorkshire puddin' with roast taters, seasonal veggies and stuffing wet by gravy and mint sauce, Who cares if its blown the diet, (that'll be the Jam roly poly that we had for dessert), its not like we have it every week.
Other than cooking I have put up Chapter 2 of Only Five Minutes, Celebrity for your enjoyment. It is a very short segment but thats the way it goes.
Hopefully i'll get more bike time this week and of course there will be more from Book 1 on Wednesday. Thats it for now though,

Guy Fawkes Night
That's nice that there was a break in the weather to celebrate Guy Fawkes Night. I have been so many times when the characters in the stories I read that I would really love to see it celebrated personally some time. And your Sunday meal looks absolutely awesome.
Thank you again for all of the awesome stories. Especially for Gaby, but there are other stories of yours that I have read many times.
Glad
That you continue to enjoy my scribbles.
I want to finish the third Trixiebell tale next which may have a bit of Gaby crossover!

We had a line of mega severe tornadic supercells pass through early Friday evening. The line went through the corners of Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas. At least two confirmed twister-caused deaths in Oklahoma, with "dozens" of reported injuries. Other deaths may be blamed on the twisters, pending the coroners' reports. Texas also reported injuries and deaths, along with damages. Nothing as yet from Arkansas. I think we'd be happy to take ordinary rainstorms.
Funny. A Southern Baptist church was totally destroyed. In fact, I think almost every tornado in Oklahoma destroys a Southern Baptist church. Now, for those of you that aren't familiar with the Baptists, they are a very conservative, militant right wing faith that blames everything bad that happens as god passing judgement on all the LGBTQI+ people along with other sinners like women's right groups, abortion right's activists, and all the rest of the liberals. So what does that say about all those churches being destroyed by twisters, which are commonly called "Acts Of God"?
