well, warmish!

Just a quick catch up today.

After the heat and sunshine of Sunday, Monday was hot again, i took Foxy's wheel back to the shop where it still is, i have plan E lined up but i'm still waiting to see how shop 1 goes. I had to take to my bed after lunch, i felt really quite ill with the heat but a lie down for a couple of hours got me back on track. I went out again, this time to senf my Leatherman back under the generous 25 year warranty, one jaw of the pliers snapped clean off! If i can get it replaced under warranty i'll be chuffed, a replacement costs in excess of £100!

Yesterday felt a little cooler but the cloud cover meant it was more humid, heck, there were even a few spots of precipitation. I took a ride out to Weston where i had planned on stopping, however my usual place was packed out, the alternatives were a) damned expensive then b) not doing food! So i kept going maybe i'd find somewhere along the road? I gave up looking and concentrated on riding, i can stop for tea and cake before i get back - or not, the cake cafe were hosting an event so i finished the ride on the last dregs of my breakfast toast.

Today the earlier cloud has started to clear but a light breeze should keep temps down to mid 20's c, i'll take myself for a walk in a bit, washings on the line, plants are watered - my cucumber plant is going great guns and the lettuce i planted a fortnight ago are really coming on!

Its supposed to warm up again through the weekend, they've put out warnings for Sunday/Monday so id you are in England, hydrate and look after yourselves.
