My mother is going away with her friend for a weeks holiday. I went around her house to drop some magazines for them.
My mother called me into her bedroom and showed me she had sorted out some clothes for me. There was underwear including a nice new black slip, women don't seem to wear those these days. She told me I could wear it in bed as a nightgown. She also gave me few tops, a handbag and a woman's coat.
She is worried my clothes will be discovered and told me to bring them to her for safekeeping. I'm away on my own on a "fishing trip" for 4 nights at the end of the month.
The best part was when we hugged before I left. She said she wished I had be born a girl as I would have made a lovely daughter.
I hope one day I can go away with her so she can meet her daughter.

A slip is almost essential
Leeanna, you must wear it a few times to get an understanding what power that beautiful piece of clothing has on those who hug you even if they don't see it. Between a satin, polyester, or silk dress, that slip, and your body it makes you feel un godly slippery the way every woman should feel at some time or another. If you aren't comfortable with men touching you ask your mother to hug you when you dress up. She's a woman and after all she purchased the slip. I guarantee she will understand.
I wear a slip when it's not too hot and or when the skirt isn't too lose around the waist. With "boy" hips too many times I had to readjust my choice on skirts or forget the slip as the skirt won't stay up. Not all of us have forgotten the essentials in women's unmentionables.

Thanks Barb. She had the windows open and kept having to lower her voice. She was clearly enjoying herself. Our family consisted of 4 males and her. Well 3 and me. She still can't believe the pictures I have shown her are me.
I would love to go away with her on her own. I'm sure she is itching to show me how to do things, but her gentleman friend likes to come along. He's 87. For him not to accompany her would mean he was ill. I wouldn't want that.
I am really looking forward to the slip. Not worn one for 40 plus years.
