Just finished "The Unicorn's Gift", having read it for the first time in 2008. What a lovely tale. It was a rare delight.
I do hope that the author is well and prosperous and enjoying the Maine winter snow.
Much peace

Unicorns Gift
I too have read this story several times. I agree with Gwen that it is a very good story. I recommend that this is a story that should be read by everyone. I also wish the author well and hope she will write more stories like this one.

Sarah Lynn Morgan
I had the pleasure of chatting with Sarah Lynn Morgan a few years back. She's an amazing person. Unfortunately, I haven't heard from her since Feb of 2020, in spite of a few efforts to reach out to her. I hope she's OK.
She is to me, one of the best storytellers of our time, and certainly the best in this genre. I dare have the presumption and honor to call her a friend.
Sarah Lynn Morgan's Story Treasury
The Unicorn's Gift is a marvelous tale that doesn't read like high fantasy... a genre I don't really care for, but this is so unlike other fantasy stories that it captured my interest immediately. I recommend to any and all people that love a well-written story, even if you don't normally like fantasy... try it anyway.
Hugs,
Roberta
Sarah Lynn Morgan
I had a brief exchange of messages with her last October after re-reading (for the nth time) several of her stories which are some of my all-time favourites. See also Emily and Boys School and... well, everything she has written, ever :)

A blast from the past!
I did a lot of editing for Sarah at the time and I'd totally forgotten about it. I worked with her on several stories, including 'The Unicorn's Gift' and 'Boy's School'. I removed all my own stuff and returned (eventually) in my present re-incarnation. :)
Funnily enough, 'The Unicorn's Gift' isn't my usual sort of story but I ended up enjoying the edit. Just checked my files and it was back in 2008 - 14 years ago!

Sarah Lynn Morgan Stories
I have loved reading and re-reading “The Unicorns Gift” and especially “Boy’s School “. “Emily” is great too. I am enamored with her writing and have missed more offerings from her. I have read the stories above numerous times, “Boy’s School”, probably a dozen. Just finished it again.
