okay, i'll admit it, besides being blonde i've been having the odd senior moment too!
I actually blame Gaby, if it wasn't for that girl insisting i write more of her saga i wouldn't've been out on my bike yesterday so i wouldn't have forgotten to write here.
In fact, since Sunday i've written three new chapters of Smell of the Crowd, Patreon supporters can read all of the 16 chapters written now, for the rest of you, well i've somehow managed to put together the next 20k words into a volume just in time for Gaby's (well and my) birthday tomorrow! So if you are a fan by the time you read this you should be able to get a hold of Smell of the Crowd Part 2 to read on your Kindle or other electronic device, go to Amazon and search for ASIN: B09TCKVDP1 - i'll put up a direct link on Sunday but i'm too tired to find it tonight!
I mentioned being on the bike yesterday, well the tale end of Franklin is still worrying at this bit of the UK so i ended up riding north to Gloucester then catching a train most of the way back - i really didn't fancy a couple of hours ploughing into a head wind! I managed 101km so that was okay, the 1k plus metres of climbing meant even with a tail wind i wasn't slacking.
So tomorrow starts my 60th year of consciousness, to 'celebrate' i've baked a cake and cookies and i'll head out for a ride in the forecast sunshine, but i do keep asking myself how i got here. (answers on a postcard c/o BC. I've also now been 'supporting' myself through my scribbling for six years, i certainly won't ever be rich from it but if it pays for my beans on toast each day i guess i'll be fairly happy.
Until Sunday then,
take care

Happy 60th birthday
(it is Friday in the UK when I write this).
Stay safe on that velocipede of yours.

ah
Not 60 yo yet but starting the 60th year! But i'll take any greetings I get, they are rather thin on the ground! Heck I even had to sing happy birthday to myself!
